Professional saxophonist with experience in multiple styles and mediums from solo and chamber music to jazz, wind band and orchestral playing. Most recent studies were with world renowned performer and master teacher Frederick L. Hemke, with whom concentration was placed on the classical solo, chamber and orchestral literature for saxophone.
Jared is an active performer and clinician presenting master classes to both school aged and college students. Most recently, February 2007, he performed with the Minnesota Opera in their World Premier production of Ricky Ian Gordon's The Grapes of Wrath. The opera received favorable reviews from media such as the Star Tribune, Pioneer Press, the New York Times, and The New Yorker magazine.
Aside from performing, Jared is building a studio of private students in the Milwaukee, WI area along with teaching K-8 general music at St. John Vianney School in Brookfield.
